WINNSBORO – Fairfield County is hosting a job fair on
Monday, Oct. 18. But it’s not just a job fair.

Fifteen businesses and several other organizations will be

vaccinations and more.

Each business will have a booth where job-seekers can pick
up an application. Tables with seating will be available for completing the
applications. The completed applications can then be taken back to the
employer’s booth where an onsite interview will be conducted.

The hiring fair will be held at the W. H. Boykin Recreation
Center at 1851, U.S. Highway Bypass N., from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The fair is open
to residents of Fairfield and surrounding counties.

The following employers will be on site:

Michelin, Department of Corrections, Department of Juvenile Justice,
Regal Homecare, First Light Homecare, Integrity Staffing, Goodwill, Spherion
Staffing, Newberry Lumber Mill, Constantia Blythewood, Town of Winnsboro and
Addus Healthcare.

Midlands Tech will be present to provide information for
programs they offer, and SC Legal Services will be on hand to assist those who
may need expungements.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes with them.

be on site to assist with creating resumes.

on site as well.
